AURORA -- Laura J. Eckley, 78, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025.
She was born June 13, 1947, in Warren, a daughter to Donald and Ruby Culver Plant.

She cherished spending time with her family and found joy in the simple things -- looking out at nature, working on word searches and coloring in quiet moments. Selfless to her core, she would have given you the shirt off her back and always had kind words, even for strangers.
She was endlessly supportive and was her family's biggest fan in life, offering encouragement, love and unwavering belief. She will be deeply missed.
She leaves behind many who love her, including daughters, Cristal (Chris) Molek of Aurora and Jessica Franks; grandchildren, Drayven Franks and Ethan Molek; sister, Wanda Myers; and brothers, Larry Plant and Tom Plant.
She was predeceased by her parents.
