JOHNSTON -- Kenneth G. Watson, 72, passed away Friday morning, Jan. 2, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Kenneth was born Feb. 20, 1953, in Camp Gordon, Georgia, a son of the late Walter and Helen Boros Watson.
He was a 1971 graduate of Maplewood High School and worked as a commercial bookbinder until he retired in 2018.
He was known to be a jack-of-all-trades. He was always helping everyone and fixing anything he could. He also enjoyed rebuilding street rods.
Kenneth will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Connie Watson; son, Matthew Watson; and many friends that he considered extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Watson.
A private service will be held with burial to take place in Johnston Township Cemetery.
