Judy Ann Taylor 1951-2026
WARREN — With hearts filled with love and memories, we remember Judy Ann Taylor, 74, a radiant soul who left this world on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family.
After a brave 10-year journey with cancer, she joined her beloved husband, William, in eternal peace.
She was born on Oct. 21, 1951, in Brockport, New York, to James Brooks and Awanda Ladue.
Her marriage to William Taylor Sr. on April 9, 1980, was the start of a beautiful life filled with love. Together they raised a family that would become her greatest joy. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2006.
Judy was an avid lover of baking, crocheting, going to flea markets and spending as much time as she could having fun with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And of course, she loved watching her stories on television. Judy was the type of person who enjoyed sitting around with a cup of coffee just to have a conversation. Judy will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; a son, Lee; her parents, James and Awanda; her brother, James; and her sister, Bonnie.
Judy leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by daughter, Rebecca (Matthew) Decker of Cortland; three granddaughters, Hannah Taylor and Sarah (Donte) Fellows of Cortland and Taylor Brooks of Warren; a bonus granddaughter, Katelyn Brady of Leavittsburg; a grandson, Matthew (Anna) Decker of Cortland; great-grandchildren, Milo, Adalyn and Karslyn; four brothers; eight sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Patriot Hospice and her nurse, Krystal Ciuba, for such wonderful care and compassion.
Services will be kept private, but a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, OH 44483, 330-394-6200. Dedicated to serving your loved ones. This obituary may be viewed and condolences sent to www.statonborowskifuneralhome.com.
