Jane Blair Marsh 1952-2026

KINSMAN -- Jane Blair Marsh, 73, passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, at Shepherd of the Valley in Warren after a brief illness.

Born Oct. 16, 1952, Jane was the daughter of Dewitt and Helen Durr Marsh.

Other than several years in Ashtabula, she was a lifelong resident of Kinsman, graduating from Joseph Badger High School in 1970.

Jane began her working life as a teenager in McCartney's Isaly's. She spent many years in retail sales at Sears, in smaller, local stores and also in manufacturing. She retired from the Bayloff Company of Kinsman (formerly Target Stamped Products, where both her mother and sister had also worked) in the quality control department. She was a dedicated employee, rarely and reluctantly ever missing a day.

Besides taking care of her property and her beloved Great Danes, Jane was a consummate Steelers fan. In her honor, the team had an improbable win on the day she died.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents and her only sibling, her sister, Patricia Marsh.

She is survived by her cousins, Carol Durr Brooks of Texas, Ginny (Rob) Pasha of Kinsman, Nancy (Tim) Marsh-McGarry of Liberty, Jim (Kim) Sheets of West Virginia, Jeff (Sherry) Sheets of Kinsman and Patrick (Chloe) McGarry of Washington.

As anyone who knew Jane will understand, at her request there will be no services. In fact, this very obituary goes against her wishes, but we took a chance.

Baumgardner Funeral and Cremation Service, Kinsman, handled arrangements. Share a fond memory or condolence at www.baumgardnerfuneralhome.com.
