PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- James E. Bugos Sr., 73, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, at Tidewell Hospice.
James was born Dec. 17, 1952, in Warren, to Elmer James Bugos and Elizabeth Quinby Bugos.
He graduated from Champion High School, Warren, in 1971. He was employed at GM Lordstown and retired after 30 years. He also had his own plumbing and driveway sealing businesses for many years.
James is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Bugos of Port Charlotte, Florida; sons, James E. Bugos Jr. (Amy) and Brian M. Bugos (Billie); stepchildren, Michael G. Wilson (Tessa) and Patricia K. Wilson; grandchildren, Brayden A. Deemer, Aftyn E. Bugos (Slater Whitehead), Julia M. Bugos (Caden Clark) and Joseph J. Bugos; brother, Stephen C. Bugos (Annamaria); nephews, Zachery and Maxwell Bugos and Benjamin, Alex and Nathan Whelan-Morin; and brothers-in-law, William R. Heidelberg, Dr. David R. Heidelberg (Susan) and Andy Morin.
James was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary E. Morin.
