MIDDLEFIELD -- Dan D. Byler, 80, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at home.
He was born Oct. 13, 1945, in Chardon, a son of Dan J. and Martha Miller Byler.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Survivors include his children, Esther and Martha Burkholder, and Melvin, John, Danny, Nancy, David and Lester Byler; 50 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine; son, Billy; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Thursday, at 16855 Hosmer Road, Middlefield.
Visitation will be anytime until the morning of services at 16502 Farley Road, Middlefield.
Interment will be in Bundysburg Road Cemetery, Parkman.
