NEWTON FALLS -- Cheryl A. Bridges, 62, of Newton Falls, passed away peacefully into eternal rest Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
She was born Feb. 1, 1963, in Warren, the daughter of the late Andrew Payne Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Staley Wilson.
Cheryl has lived in Warren for the past 35 years and was formerly of Washington, Pa., where she attended McGuffey High School in the Class of 1982. She married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, James T. Bridges II, on March 13, 1982, and they have enjoyed the past 43 years of marriage together. Cheryl loved being a housewife and raising her children, watching TV and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and John Hadden; a sister, Sonja Ballentine; and a granddaughter, Michaela Rayne.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, James T. Bridges II of Newton Falls; one daughter, Nichole (Ed Berardo) Bridges of Newton Falls; one son, James T. (Michelle) Bridges III of Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters, Ruth Hadden of Walled Lake, Michigan, and Marcie and Dave Powers of Livonia, Michigan; and eight grandchildren, James, Mackenzie, Josh, Tristan, Hailey, Lexi, Serenity and Giavanna.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
