LEAVITTSBURG -- Sandra Lee "Sandy" Strock, 67, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
She was born on May 25, 1958, in Warren, the daughter of the late William "Bill" Joseph Wiczen Sr. and Majorie Cora Davis Wiczen.
A lifetime area resident, Sandy worked at Tarkett in Chagrin Falls for 18 years, retiring in 2021. Sandy loved her dogs and was dedicated to her family, enjoying family cookouts and campfires. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, music, her houseplants and shopping for the best deal.
She is survived by her children, her daughters, Jennifer L. Watson (Janie Andreatta) of Southington Township and Sonya Boorn of Leavittsburg; son, Ronnie Strock (Kimberly Swanson) of Leavittsburg; two brothers, Tom (Tracy) Wiczen of Windermere, Florida, and Brian (Sarah) Wiczen of Garrettsville; four grandchildren, Brittany, Alex (Zandra), Kenny and Sondra; and one great-grandchild, David.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Matthew Wiczen and William "Bill" Wiczen Jr.
According to Sandy's wishes, cremation will take place and a private family memorial service will be held.
Sandy will be buried at a later date in Braceville Township Cemetery.
The family has requested that donations in Sandy's memory can be made to either The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project, 909 Martin Luther King Blvd. SW, Warren, OH 44485; or The Hope Center for Cancer Care, 700 Howland Wilson Road SE, Warren, OH 44484.
