Robert D. Lupton 1963-2025

CORTLAND — Robert Dale “Bob” Lupton, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, at his home.

He was born June 28, 1963, in Cincinnati, the son of Dr. Robert D. Lupton and Rosemary Beight Watson.

Bob was a 1982 graduate of Poland Seminary High School. He entered the U.S. Coast Guard on Jan. 23, 1990, and was honorably discharged on Feb. 22, 1996. Of all the honors Bob received from the USCG, he was most proud of the Commandant’s Letter of Recommendation that was read in front of the graduating class of electrician mates.

He owned and operated All Electric with his wife and sons for 20 years. Bob was a long-term member of Grace Fellowship Church and had a deep love for the Lord.

Robert, foremost, enjoyed being used as a “playground” by his grandchildren. He was passionate about spreading the love of God through donating Bibles to Bibles for Closed Countries, leading Bible studies with his employees and ending every call with his customers with “God Bless.” He loved fishing and hunting with his best friends, including Bob, Dennis and Nick. He also enjoyed working on his business with his boys, golfing at the Trumbull Country Club, traveling and singing to his wife every day.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Andrea L. Lupton of Cortland; father, Dr. Robert D. Lupton; mother, Rosemary Beight Watson; sons, Keith (Celia) Lupton of Willoughby and Robert (Amanda) Lupton of Cortland; grandchildren, June, Aaron, Maisy, Milo and one on-the-way; and siblings, Elizabeth Scocchera, Johnathan (Karen) Lupton, Jeff (Dana) Lupton, James (Debbie) Watson, Tom (Gale) Watson and Chuck (Michelle) Watson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Watson; and brother, Ken Lupton.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, at Grace Fellowship Church.

Friends may call 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
