WARREN -- Nancy Jo Gore, 79, daughter of the late Ray and Betty Keeler Thigpen, passed away peacefully Monday morning, Dec. 15, 2025, at Aventura at Humility House in Austintown.
Nancy was born June 7, 1946, in Warren, where she resided her entire life.
Nancy's hobbies included watching "Bar Rescue," the Lifetime channel, betting on horses and playing slot machines. She shared many fond memories of betting on horses with her brothers and playing the slots with her sister. From Atlantic City to the horse tracks in Florida and local casinos, she loved them all.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Casey Gore of Warren; and her two very loved grandchildren, Layla Gore and Aaron Nuby, also of Warren.
She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Kathy (Larry) Roe; brother, Ronnie (Joyce) Thigpen; sisters-in-law, Emma, Karen, Erica and Jody Thigpen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Betty Thigpen; her brothers, Robin, Ray Lee, David, Mark and Anthony (Tony) Thigpen; nephews, Jason and Mark Thigpen; and niece, Cathy Thigpen.
In accordance with Nancy's wishes, there will be no services.
Family and friends are encouraged to honor her memory by playing a slot machine or placing a bet on a horse in her remembrance.
