HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Margaret Ann "Peggy" Taylor, 87, formerly of Orangeville, passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 14, 2025, at Concord Care of Hartford.
She was born April 24, 1938, in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of John and Roszemma Phillips Taylor.
She retired after working 23 years as a prep cook at Eat'n Park in Hermitage, Pa.
A 1957 graduate of Hartford High School, Margaret was an active member of the Hartford Community Church. She also belonged to the former Hartford Grange 1479.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her longtime companion, Fred Carnes; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Phillip Samuels and Sarah "Betty" and Frank O'Connor; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Ethel Taylor and Edward and Frances Taylor.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made, in Margaret's name, to the Hartford Community Church, P.O. Box 38, Hartford, OH 44424.
Friends and relatives may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, at the Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 state Route 7, Hartford, where a funeral service will follow calling hours at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor Gary Meikle officiating.
Following cremation, burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, Pa.
