VIENNA -- John Philip Hixson, 77, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at home.
He was born May 26, 1948, in Youngstown, a son of Ethan and Elizabeth Hixson.
He was an Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.
He retired as a meter reader at East Ohio Gas.
Survivors include his son, Ethan L. Hixson of Mentor; sister, Martha Flint of Hartford; and brother, Donald Hixson of Washington state.
John was preceded in death by one sister.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
