Jerome Marimpietri 1948-2025

FARMDALE -- Jerome "Jerry" Marimpietri, 77, passed away Wednesday evening, Dec. 3, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Jerry was born Oct. 30, 1948, in Sharon, Pa., a son of the late Peter and Adeline Petrucci Marimpietri.

He was a graduate of Farrell High School and continued his education at Edinboro University, where he received his bachelor's degree in education. After receiving his bachelor's degree, he then received his master's degree from Westminster College in administration. Before he started his career in teaching, he was a police officer in Farrell. He then taught at Maplewood Schools for 35 years until he retired in 2008.

Outside of teaching, he loved being outdoors, whether he was gardening, hunting or fishing. He also loved to spend time with his family, especially traveling during summer breaks.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Darlene Polley Marimpietri, whom he married Feb. 22, 1973; sons, Todd (Angela) Marimpietri and Justin (Tasha) Marimpietri; grandchildren, Vincent and Anthony Marimpietri, Chloe and Bella Pipic, and JJ Gunther; and 13 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Peter and Joseph Marimpietri.

A private graveside service will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Hermitage, Pa.
