BRISTOLVILLE -- Dennis D. Switzer, 79, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025.
He was born Oct. 6, 1946, in Warren, to the late Richard Switzer and Wilma Girman.
Dennis shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Betty Brown Switzer. Dennis retired from GM Lordstown after 39 years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed golf, bowling, woodworking and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; his children, Renee M. (Denny) Moore and Greg E. Switzer; and his cherished granddaughters, Britt M. Beil, Shaney N. (Devon) Smith, Kendyl N. (Anthony) Penna and Kayla M. Switzer, along with her friend, Austin Harshman.
Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter, Michell Switzer, and his parents.
Dennis will be remembered for his kindness, his love for family and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
Per the family's request, the service will be private.
