NAMPA, Idaho -- David M. Prather died Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at his home with his wife at his side.
He was born Dec. 17, 1941, in Warren, a son of Charles R. and Helen I. Prather.
He lived in Warren most of his life, moving to Arizona and then Idaho to be closer to family.
David graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and Kent State University. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the engineering department of the Packard Electric Division of the General Motors Corp.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carole; and sons, Patrick of San Jose, California, and Scott (Eileen) of Sacramento, California; as well as his beloved granddaughters, Eleanor and Charlotte of San Jose.
Interment will be in Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise.
