Cynthia N. Porter 1975-2025
WARREN — Cynthia Nicole Porter, 50, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital, following an extended illness.
She was born June 22, 1975, in Warren, a daughter of Algen Kenneth Daniels, and Mattie Thompson Vail and Jerry David Vail Sr.
She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Joubert Porter; her daughter, Cynthia Nicole Porter Flanagan; her mother, Mattie Vail Freeman and stepfather, Joseph Freeman, all of Warren; brothers, LeShun D. Daniels Sr. of Waldorf, Maryland, Jerry D. Vail Jr. of Warren and Algen Jackson of Rochester, New York; and sisters, Stacey Vail Poole and Renee Vail, both of Columbus, Lisa Burgess of Cleveland and Yvette Patterson of Warren.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her fathers; her husband, John Douglas Porter Jr.; one brother; one sister; one grandson; and her maternal grandparents.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m., with services at 11 a.m. Friday, at New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
