WARREN -- Charlene E. Jarvis, 80, of Warren, passed away on Monday evening, Dec. 1, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Charlene was born on Feb. 10, 1945, in Youngstown.
Charlene was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and went on to have an extensive career in manufacturing at General Motors, retiring as a foreman.
Outside of work, Charlene enjoyed crafting and shopping at the latest garage sale and flea market. She was known for her cooking and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. Most of all, Charlene cherished her family and was thankful to those who visited and cared for her. She will be greatly missed.
Charlene will always be remembered by her children, Lou Anne Cox, Irene Jarvis and William Jarvis; grandchildren, Jana (Richard) Cox, David (Jill) Cox, Louis III (Salena) Jarvis, William Jarvis II, Cheyenne Jarvis and Richard Jarvis; and great-grandchildren, Ashton, Mi'Juana, Tony, Athena and Baby Williams on the way.
Besides her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by the love of her life, Louis Jarvis Sr.; daughter, Elaine Jarvis; and son-in-law, Kenneth Cox.
Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Charlene, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE.
A funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home, with Father Constantine Valantasis presiding.
Entombment will be in Pineview Memorial Park, next to her husband.
