BROOKFIELD -- Barbara A. Cline, 84, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025.
She was born Oct. 5, 1941, in New Castle, Pa., the daughter of George and Alma Smith McCracken.
Barbara attended New Castle schools. She retired as a bus driver for Lakeview schools, then worked as the transportation coordinator for WTCSA preschool. She belonged to Eastern Star and the Skye Terrier Kennel Club.
You could find her watching anything from a Hallmark movie to medical shows to Ohio State football on TV. She was a big Cleveland Guardians fan, and loved to crochet and make crafts. Barbara was a voracious reader, reading two or more books a week, her favorites being romance, mystery and anything by James Patterson.
Precious memories of Barbara live on with her two daughters, Shawna L. Cline and Leigh Ann Zigler, both of Brookfield; two sons, Raymond E. Cline Jr. (Tiffany) of Houston, Texas, and Patrick J. Cline (Ruth) of Warren; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her beloved husband of 59 years, Raymond E. Cline Sr., whom she married Feb. 1, 1957, and who passed Oct. 2, 2016; and her brother, Richard McCracken.
Calling hours will be 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at 5 p.m. All who knew and loved Barbara are welcome to attend and celebrate her remarkable life.
