WARREN -- Amy Jo Lane, 61, passed away peacefully into eternal rest, Monday morning, Dec. 29, 2025, at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.
She was born June 26, 1964, in Warren, the daughter of Robert Eugene Lane Sr. and Mary Alice Snyder Lane.
Amy lived in Warren for over 30 years and was formerly of Newton Falls, where she graduated from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1982. She worked at Lear in Lordstown and then at Magna International Automotive, also in Lordstown. Amy had an accounting degree from Kent State University and a degree in computer science from YSU.
Amy was a member of All Saints Community Church in Cortland for many years. She loved reading and doing all types of crafts.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Gene" Lane.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Alice Lane; three sisters, Mary and John Seifert, Rebecca and Bryan Bender, and Lori Kyle and Jack Chandler; one brother, Robert Jr. and Cathy Lane; and many nieces and nephews.
Amy was cremated, and the family will be holding a private ceremony with plans to hold a celebration of life for all friends and loved ones at a later date.
Amy will be laid to rest beside her father, Robert, in Newton Falls Cemetery.
