WARREN -- Warren Clay, 74, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at Hospice House.
He was born Sept. 8, 1951, in Columbia, South Carolina, a son of Willie Clay and Sadie Hagler Dowell.
He retired as a press operator at Republic Steel. He was a member of St. James Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include his sons, Trenell Clay of Houston, Texas, Warren Lamont Clay and Cardell Clay, both of Warren; brothers, Willie Stanley Clay and Michael Clay, both of Warren, and Bryant Jeffrey Clay of Pittsburgh, Pa.; sister, Rosalyn Dowell Kuklock of Killeen, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by her wife, Sylvia Delan Jenkins Clay; daughter, Kimyata Evans; one brother and two grandchildren.
Services will be held noon Monday at St. James Church of God in Christ, with calling hours 11a.m. to noon.
Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
