WARREN -- Ronald Hoffman, 92, formerly of Southington, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
He was born May 16, 1933, in Warren, the son of Frank E. Hoffman and Irene McCleery Hoffman.
Ron married Sandra Allen Hoffman on Aug. 26, 1955. She preceded him in death on July 11, 2020.
He was a graduate of the former Chalker High School. Mr. Hoffman was employed as a pipefitter at Packard Electric for 31 years until his retirement in 1982.
He proudly served our country in the Korean War.
Ronald was an extremely talented craftsman and built anything from curios and book cabinets to outside Christmas decorations. He especially enjoyed golfing at Riverview Golf Course and watching golf on TV.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Richard (Darlene) Hoffman; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Doug Morris) Hoffman and Melissa (Aaron White) Hoffman; sister, Joan Hickox.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Gail Hoffman Callow in 2002; two brothers, Frank and Austin Hoffman; sisters-in-law, Carol Hoffman and Madeline Hoffman; and brother-in-law, Bob Hickox.
Per Ronald's request, there will be no service or calling hours. Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
