SEYMOUR, Tenn. -- Mitchel Raymond Bailey, 57, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at Ascension St. Thomas West.
He was born Oct. 3, 1968, in Warren, a son of Howard R. Bailey and the late Judy Anne Jarrell Bailey.
He graduated from Abilene High School in Abilene, Texas, and worked as a real estate agent for years. He was on the Great Smoky Mountains Association of Realtors Board.
Mitchel's highest priority was his children. He loved fishing and camping. He considered it his obligation to make people smile.
He attended Vertical Church, Sevierville, Tennessee.
He is survived by his father, Howard R. Bailey of Sevierville, Tennessee; children, Mitchel R. Bailey Jr., Victoria Bailey, Linwood Bailey and Lalia Bailey; siblings, Melissa Pallarez, Julie Ann Sandifer, Linda Kay Robertson and Howard R. Bailey Jr; stepmother, Linda L. Bailey; and stepsiblings, Michelle L. Saleh and Susan M. Hawn.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Anne Jarrell Bailey.
Services will be held at noon Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Mitchel's brother-in-law, the Rev. Thomas C. Sandifer, will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Meadow Brook Memorial Park.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
