Mary H. Zarbaugh 1939-2025

BURGHILL -- Mary H. Zarbaugh, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025.

Mary was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Warren, a daughter to Paul and Helen Raymond Hicks.

Mary was the world's best nana. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and loved being with her family. Mary loved to get out and enjoy life. Getting to her family reunions, her trips to Myrtle Beach, to North Kingsville to camp and fish, out to eat with friends and gardening filled her with joy. Mary loved to bake.

She was a part of Shiloh Church and enjoyed getting there to worship.

She was a chatterbox; Mary had a natural ability to fill anyone's time with conversation. It didn't matter who you were; she loved to talk. She spent her downtime watching the Hallmark Channel and "Wheel of Fortune."

Mary leaves behind many people who will love and miss her dearly, including her daughters, Deborah (Michael) Rondini and Barbara (Allen) Hover; sons, David (MaryAnne) Plott and Stephen (Stacie) Zarbaugh; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Stephen Zarbaugh; sisters, Evelyn Bartholomew and Leone Kolley; and brothers, John Hicks, Carlos Hicks, Roger Hicks and Billy Zarbaugh.

The family would like to express their immense gratitude to Southern Care Hospice and O'Brien Nursing Home for the care and compassion they provided Mary and her family.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, with funeral and entombment to follow at noon at Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel and Mausoleum in Vienna.

Caring and professional services were entrusted to Selby Funeral Home.
