NILES -- James W. Comer, 94, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at Continuing Health Care of Niles.
He was born May 17, 1931, in Niles, a son of Joseph and Helen Bahn Comer.
He retired from Packard Electric and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his sons, Donald of Raleigh, North Carolina, and James A. of Charlotte, North Carolina; daughters, Linda Chechitelli of Youngstown, Peggy Lucas of Warren and Sandra Dean of Niles; a brother, Jerry of Arizona; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl W. Wright Comer, and one brother.
There are no services.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
