James R. Brewer 1952-2025
WARREN — James R. Brewer, loving father, grandfather, uncle, avid fisherman, Cleveland sports aficionado and pro wrestling fan, was called home Saturday morning, Nov. 1, 2025.
Jim, as those who loved him called him, was born Dec. 29, 1952, the youngest son of Charles and Helen Brewer.
He proudly served as a medic in the USAF during the Vietnam Conflict. After returning home, Jim became an amazing father to not only his boys, but to the neighborhood kids as well, coaching baseball and taking anyone fishing who wanted to go.
Jim was a soft-spoken man with a kind smile. He will be greatly missed by his sons and everyone who had the pleasure to know him.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Charles; his mother, Helen; sister, Trudy Harrington; and eldest brother, Chucky Brewer.
He is survived by his sons, James Brewer (Theresa Ball) and Mark Brewer; his cat, Ash; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his nephews, Terry and Mike Harrington; and the entire McGee family.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
