ANDOVER -- Drew A. Kornet, 29, entered into eternal rest, Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.
He was born April 9, 1996, in Cleveland, the son of Mark Kornet and Christal Moore.
Drew was a graduate of Maplewood High School and learned masonry at Ashtabula Tech. He worked for American Friction.
A man with wide interests and a flair for the outdoors, Drew was an avid fisherman and could be found regularly at Mosquito Lake. He enjoyed tattoos and rock music, and he was fond of animals, especially snakes and lizards. He loved Viking traditions and wondered what that life was like. Most of all, he cherished his family and his time with them.
Precious memories of Drew live on with his mother, Christal Moore of Andover; his father, Mark Kornet of Cleveland; his sister, Kayla Paul (David) of Cortland; his nieces and nephew, Alorilyn, Jameson and Ariella; and his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom loved him deeply and will miss him dearly.
Calling hours are 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday. All who knew and loved Drew are welcome to attend and honor his terrific life.
Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Cortland.
