CHAMPION -- Bertha Lee Ervin Walker Johnson, 72, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, in Los Angeles, California.
She was born Jan. 17, 1953, in Indianola, Mississippi, the daughter of George and Harriet Ervin.
She retired as a teacher's aide and substitute. She was a member of Progressive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Michael LaMar Walker of Los Angeles and Wayne DeShawn Johnson Magee of Boston, Massachusetts; one granddaughter; brother, George Ervin of Warren; and sisters, Sheria Ervin and Lillie Ervin Tiggett, both of Warren, and Gloria Ervin of Marietta, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Calling hours will be 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home, Warren, followed by services at 3 p.m.
