JEFFERSON -- Mary J. Allen, 74, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at her daughter's home in Cortland.
She was born Dec. 3, 1950, in Ashtabula, a daughter of the late Mary Hughart and Dewey Lamson.
Momma loved to do her word search puzzles and listen to music, especially Elvis and The Temptations. She was such a loving mother and grandma. Her love and humor will be missed immensely.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Bean, Jeffrey Bean, Christina Vega and Corey Allen; grandchildren, Hunter Bean, Conner Bean, Nathaniel Roberts, Alyssa Roberts, and Landon and Addison Allen; a great-granddaughter, Arya; and her sister, Barbara Dair.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall C. Allen, and brother, Rob Lamson.
A celebration of life to honor her will begin 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at 3300 McCleary Jacoby Road.
