WARREN -- Leroy Shaver Jr., 60, passed away peacefully into eternal rest, Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
He was born Aug. 16, 1965, in Warren, a son of Leroy Sr. and Janice Flanagan Shaver.
Leroy lived in Warren all his life. He enjoyed fishing, attending the July 4th picnics, football, Westerns and "Forensic Files."
Memories of Leroy will be carried on by his loving family, his son, Brandon Wooding of Warren, Ohio; his father, Leroy Shaver Sr. of Warren; his sisters, Shonta Turner, also of Warren, Joanna Shaver-Beyah of Columbus and Michelle Stuckey of Cleveland; his brother, Shawn Stroud of Warren; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and his girlfriend, Barbara Bittinger.
Leroy was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Shaver.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025 at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, with funeral services at 11 a.m.
He will be laid to rest in Braceville Cemetery.
