Jean Ware 1936-2025

WARREN -- Jean "YaYa" Sisley Ware, 89, passed Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025.

She was born Sept. 9, 1936, in Kinsman, the daughter of Rodney and Maude Sisley.

She graduated from Kinsman High School.

Jean retired in 1991 from Packard Electric / GM after 32 years of service.

She married David P. Ware on Aug. 3, 1956, in Kinsman, and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage.

Jean enjoyed traveling, casinos, cooking and her family. She also enjoyed living in Wyoming for 10 years after her retirement.

Jean is survived by her children, Madena St. Clair (Norm Boyd) of Cortland, Clayton Ware (Rachel Montler) of Leavittsburg and Jeanine (Jon) Silbaugh of Bazetta; her six grandchildren, Bryan (Steff) Cook, Elena (Andrew) Schmitt, Jordan St. Clair, Emilee (Moses) Ware, Jensen (Kyle) Silbaugh and John Silbaugh; her two great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild, Carson Montler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David, her parents and her six sisters.

The family would like to thank Shepherd of the Valley Howland and Traditions Health Hospice nurses and aides for their care.

Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
