PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. -- Janet M. Minick Barnett, 75, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, at her home.
She was born Jan. 30, 1950.
She loved gardening, sitting on the porch, camping, birds and fishing. She loved spending time with her family, and loved talking about Jehovah / God and sharing her hope with others, which she did as a member of the Cortland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dwight M. Barnett; daughter, Julia Rose Barnett; brothers, Lee Minick and Dale Minick; and a great-granddaughter, Autumn Rose Rudge.
Janet leaves behind her children, Melissa (Michael) Artman, Melinda (Donald) Brobst, Dwight (Rachel) Barnett and Jody Barnett; her beloved grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Shirley (Ed) Dinger; and brothers, Wayne (Tracy) Minick and Don (Norma) Minick.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at the Cortland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
