MINERAL RIDGE -- Donald Lee Hendershott, 75, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at Mineral Ridge Continuing Healthcare.
He was the son of Calvin Hendershott and Natalee Hendershott Cook, born Feb. 24, 1950, in Warren.
Don was married to Frances Connelly on Nov. 9, 1985.
Don was a 1968 graduate of Grand Valley High School, where he played football, basketball and baseball. He and his wife were longtime members of New Covenant Baptist Church in Lordstown.
Donald is survived by his sister, Cherrie (Tom) Dole; brother, David (Margie) Hendershott; and five nephews, Brian Chad, Chris, Tom, Joshua and Kevin; and he was a great-uncle to six.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and his sister, Lori Takacs.
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Mark Hostetler will take place at noon Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, at Orwell North Cemetery Chapel, 135 N. Maple St. (state Route 45), Orwell, OH 44076.
Services have been entrusted to Paine Funeral Home, Orwell.
