WARREN -- Diana Grace Summerill, 80, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at Community Skilled Health Care Center.
She was born Jan. 9, 1945, in Temple, Texas, a daughter of the late Robert Edwin Smith and the late Louise Katherine Ruth Schiel Smith.
Diana graduated from Bristol schools and went on to earn a technical diploma, becoming a licensed practical nurse. She was employed at Community Skilled Healthcare Center, Trumbull Memorial Hospital, and later, at the American Red Cross as a nurse in blood donations.
Diana was very family-oriented; she loved her children, grandchildren and her miniature dachshunds.
Surviving are daughters, Deborah Stefanic of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Rebecca (Mark) Kaiser of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Amanda Davis, Michael Stefanic, Kirklind Stefanic, Jaramieh Kaiser, Anya Kaiser-Tierno, Ruthie O'Brien and Ricki Kaiser; and seven great-grandchildren, Mason Davis, Landen Davis, Ezra Davis, Reece Davis, Luca Marquardt, Lucas Kaiser and Octavius Kaiser. Also surviving is her brother, Robert Smith of Lancaster, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tharon L. Summerill; a sister, Linda Hurst; and a son-in-law, Michael Stefanic.
Interment is in Sager Memorial Cemetery in Bristolville.
Arrangements were entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
