Morris J. Talbert Jr. 1961-2025

He was born Aug. 26, 1961, in Sharon, Pa., a son of the late Morris J. Talbert Sr. and the late Suvilla Price.

Morris worked as a truck driver most of his life. He bowled in a league, enjoyed karate, fishing, listening and dancing to music, but most of all he loved time spent with his family.

He was a member of New Vision Christian Church of God.

Left to carry on his legacy are his daughters, Kissa (Eddie) Graham, Jakita Walker, Edna Rodgers, Tara Talbert and Kapri Golden; brother, James Talbert of Warren; sister, Francine Talbert of Newport, Virginia; as well as 28 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were his finest pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sherry S. Talbert; and sons, Morris J. Talbert III and Kamiel Watson.

Services will be held at noon Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Joseph Harrison will officiate. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service time at noon on Friday at the funeral home.
