Karen E. Ross 1971-2025

Karen was born Sept. 27, 1971, in Youngstown, a daughter of Larry and Shirley Ogram Neal.

She was a 1989 graduate of Liberty High School and received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Youngstown State University.

Karen was a caseworker for Trumbull County Job and Family Services.

She was a member of Girard United Methodist Church.

Karen enjoyed going on vacations, especially to Cancun. She had a fond love for all animals and she was an excellent cook.

Karen leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Larry and Shirley Neal; brother, Brian (Jennifer) Neal; niece, Hannah Neal; and her longtime friend and companion for 15 years, Randy Ross.

Private services will be held for the family.

Karen will be laid to rest in Niles City Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, material contributions should be made to Angels for Animals or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
