HOWLAND -- Helen L. Knouse, 98, died Monday evening, Sept. 22, 2025, at Shepherd of the Valley-Howland.
She was born June 7, 1927, in Youngstown, the daughter of Wilhelm J. and Hermine Von Kranik Schwartz.
Helen retired from Forum Health.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Knouse; two daughters, Diane Hafely and Lori Stull, both of Howland; two sons, Mark T. Knouse of Painesville and Robert Knouse of York, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by a son, Donald W. Suttelle, two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren, where a service will be held at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Howland Township Cemetery.
