Dale A. Pinko 1951-2025

WARREN -- The family of Dale Alan Pinko is saddened to announce his passing Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, at the age of 74.

He was born Aug. 16, 1951, in Warren.

Dale will be lovingly remembered by his son, Jason Pinko of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; daughter, Lyndsi (Richard McDermitt) of Grove City; granddaughters, Delaney Stull and Jyraca Clark; and brother, Steve Pinko (Barb).

He also will be missed by his numerous cousins, relatives and friends, and his longtime companion, Jeannie Putnam.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Steve Pinko and Emma Hess.

He attended and graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1969. He was employed by General Motors, from where he retired in 2007 after 37 years.

Dale loved being on the water -- he enjoyed boating and water skiing on both the lake and the ocean. You could find him cruising on his Harley at bike night or hitting the slopes when the weather turned. He was a Browns and Buckeyes fan.

Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family -- traveling during his golden years to Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale and Key West before settling back home in Ohio.

He will be remembered for his witty humor, big heart and sense of adventure.

At his request, formal services will not be held. His wishes are for a private family gathering in Key West at a later date.

The family would like to thank Patriot Home Health Care and Hospice Services for their great care during Dale's battle with cancer.

Cremation services have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project or the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County so that others can be blessed by a dog's love as Dale was.
