Alan W. Sippola 1951-2025

VIENNA -- Alan W. Sippola went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, one day before his 74th birthday.

He was born Sept. 18, 1951, in Conneaut, the son of Wesley and Eileen Abbuhl Sippola.

Alan graduated from Pymatuning Valley High School and retired after many years as a telephone lineman, first with United Telephone and later as a subcontractor.

Alan was made for the outdoors, not only in his day job, but also in the many hours he spent fishing, especially in Pymatuning Lake and Mosquito Lake. Even when his health declined, he would go for long walks, rain or shine, heat or cold. He loved to go exploring close to home and was famous for his one-day trips. He cherished his time with his grandson.

Precious memories of Alan live on with his father, Wesley Sippola of Hermitage, Pa.; his beloved wife of 29 years, Lucinda "Cindi" Sippola, whom he married Feb. 16, 1996; four children, Jason Sippola (Susan) of Sharpsville, Pa., Alvin Willaman (Amanda Whitacre) of Ocala, Florida, Ashley Morris (Jay) of Howland and Alyssa Sippola (Adam Knorr) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Hannah Sippola, Zachary Sippola and Lincoln Morris.

His mother, Elieen Sippola, preceded him in death.

According to his wishes, Alan's life will be celebrated with a gathering of family and friends at a later date. To honor his remarkable life, do a good deed for someone, and remember Alan and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
