WARREN -- Jody Marie Batton, 53, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, at Hospice House.
She was born Sept. 29, 1971, in Warren, a daughter of the late Beryl E. "Sonny" Francis and the late Louise E. McMasters Francis.
Jody worked as a home health aide. She enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, gardening and being outside. Jody loved animals, but most of all, she cherished being with her grandkids.
She is survived by her son, Corey (Samantha) Batton of Warren; daughter, Ashley (Tharon Walters) Batton of Warren; sister, Holly Fisher of Leavittsburg; brother, Robert (Coleen) Francis of Zephyrhills, Florida; grandchildren, Hayden Huncherick of Leavittsburg, Emily Batton of Girard and Troy Batton of Warren; and lifelong friend, Barb Starkey-Hewitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Troy D. Batton.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Friends and family may gather from 1:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Jody will be laid to rest in Meadowbrook Memorial Park.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
