Jennifer S. Yocum 1962-2025
WARREN — Jennifer Sue Yocum, 63, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, at Gillette Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 12, 1962, in Clarksburg, W.Va., the daughter of Kenneth Dale Layfield and Mildred Jane Bragg Clark.
She was an elementary school special needs assistant in Maplewood schools and a fitness instructor at the YMCA.
She attended Greene Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her mother of Warren; son, Robin A. Yocum of Edinboro, Pa.; brother, Harry David Layfield of Warren; and stepsiblings, Mary Dornath, Jo Anne Reynolds, Geraldine Withrow-Willis, Jimmy Withrow and Pam Withrow.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A celebration of life will begin 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cortview Village Recreation Center, Cortland.
