Golda M. Hearn 1939-2025
HOWLAND — Golda M. Hearn, 85, died Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Green Meadows Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Louisville.
She was born Sept. 5, 1939, in Saranac Lake, New York, to Felix and Doris Barnaby Gates.
Survivors include sons, Terry Gates of Waterbury, Vermont, and James Jackson III of Salem; daughters, Lavada Vazquez of Newbury and Valerie Jackson of Howland; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Jackson Jr. and Ralph Hearn, and by 10 siblings.
Private services will take place at a later date.
