Hermina K. Wolfe 1932-2025

WARREN — Hermina Katharina “Minnie” David Wolfe, 93, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Cortland Health Care.

She was born May 20, 1932, in McDonald, the daughter of John and Katherine Greger David.

Minnie was employed for 33 years at Packard Electric. After her retirement, she worked in several other businesses until the age of 89.

She was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Army-Navy Garrison 422 in Girard, Cortland Moose, the Saxon Club in Youngstown, and the Niles Eagles.

Minnie spent many years camping at Berlin Lake. She enjoyed crafts, dining out with friends and decorating outside during the holidays. She participated in the Polar Plunge in Cortland for over 20 years, including this year. She was also a top donor to the Special Olympics and a member of the Trumbull County Democratic Party, campaigning for several local political candidates over many years.

Her husband, Robert O. Wolfe, whom she married Dec. 22, 1951, died March 6, 2012.

She will be sadly missed by two sons, Robert J. Wolfe (DiAnn) of Quincy, California, and David A. Wolfe (Beth) of Lake Milton; a daughter, Mary Kay Arnold (Michael) of West Jordan, Utah; her sister, Joann Young of Niles; four grandchildren, Jeremy Arnold (Kris), Joshua Arnold (Atalea), John Wolfe (Lauren) and Christina Wolfe; and three great-grandchildren, Seth Wolfe, Bennett Wolfe and Savannah Martinez (Felix).

She was preceded in death by brothers, Richard David and Emil David; and longtime companion, James Bellitt.

The family would like to thank everyone at Cortland Health Center and Southern Care Hospice, especially Ashley and Chaplain Steve.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the noon committal service on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Niles City Cemetery Chapel. Memorial services are to be provided by Pastor David Conrad, Trinity Lutheran Church, Niles. Following the service a luncheon will be provided at Army Navy Garrison 422, Girard.
