WARREN -- Darnell Donwan Sylvester George Owens, 49, died Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Tampa, Florida.
He was born June 30, 1975, in Warren, a son of Darnell Ball and Valerie Owens.
He was employed as a contractor at Kuhar Construction and attended New Jerusalem Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his mother, of Warren; children, Anthony Lavelle, Darnell Owens Jr. and Darian Owens, all of Warren, Esias, Emonte and Elana Taylor, all of Sharon, Pa., and D'Asia Byrd of Charlotte, North Carolina; five grandchildren; sisters, Tasha Owens and Tammy Jethroe; and brother, David Owens, all of Warren; four stepsiblings, Marquise, Nyiesha, Lindsey and Ashley Frank; and his girlfriend, Zakeia Morris.
Darnell was preceded in death by his father.
Calling hours will be noon to 1 p.m. Monday at Staton Borowski Funeral Home, with services following at 1 p.m.
