COLUMBUS, Georgia -- Jenny Christine Atkinson, 54, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at St. Francis-Emery Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
She was born Jan. 31, 1971, in Warren, the daughter of Thomas and Jacqueline Atkinson.
She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1989 and went on to earn an associate's degree from ITT Technical College and worked for 25 years at Delphi.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her son, Stephen Atkinson of Warren; daughter, Samantha (James Kurdziel) Atkinson of Aliquippa, Pa.; three grandchildren, Alexander, Sadie and Oliver; fiance, Mark Bokina of Columbus, Georgia; sister, Veronica (Jerry) Starr of Warren; nieces, Rachel, Evelyn and Adelyn Baker of Cleveland; and nephew, Jeremy (Kylee Clark) Starr of Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas; and brother, Shawn Atkinson.
A celebration of Jenny's life will be held at a later date.
Jenny was an organ donor. The family requests all material donations be made, in her name, to Donate Life America.
Cremation will be handled by the Cremation Society of Georgia.
