Betty Ann Lemasters 1935-2025
SHAWNEE HILLS — Betty Ann Accordino Lemasters, a longtime resident of Warren, passed away at the age of 89 on April 22, 2025, at her home after a short illness.
Betty was born in Niles on Sept. 30, 1935, to Italian immigrants Filippo and Giovannina Accordino.
She was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School, an employee at Packard Electric, a member of Central Christian Church, and — most importantly to Betty — a devoted wife and mother.
Betty married David “Dave” James Lemasters in 1954; they celebrated 69 happy years of marriage shortly before Dave’s passing in 2023.
Betty will be deeply missed by a daughter, Vickie Lynn Terada of Shawnee Hills; a son, David Austin (Michelle) Lemasters of Santa Clarita, California; four grandchildren, Gia (Mike) Seymour, Callie Reynolds, Austin (Chelsie) Lemasters and Braeden Lemasters; and two great-grandchildren, Nico Seymour and Bryson Lemasters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as nine siblings, Anthony Flarey, Carmella Ettaro, Dominic Flarey, Dora Perone, Laura Infante, Marian Tricomi, Mary Virginia Poli, Russell Accordino and Sam Accordino.
For many years after retiring in the 1990s, Betty and Dave split their time between Warren and The Villages, Florida, where they could be found playing bocce, singing karaoke, dancing to music at the town squares and gathering with friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are appreciated.
