Anthony R. Nori 1946-2025

He was born Jan. 12, 1946, in Warren, the son of Rocco and Angela Spagnuolo Nori. Anthony was a 1963 graduate of Niles McKinley High School.

He was employed in the commercial construction industry, retiring from VendRick Construction in Brookfield as chief construction estimator.

He was a member of St. Pope John XXIII Parish-Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Niles Lions Club, where he served as King Lion and district officer. He was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellow and in 2004 received The International Presidents Certificate of Appreciation for Leadership and Service.

He enjoyed golfing, music, dancing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Marian Kramarich Nori, whom he married July 27, 1974; a son, Mark Nori of Howland; a stepson, John Pokornowski, and his wife, Kristi of Geneva, Illinois; a brother, Rocco A. Nori, and his wife, Mary of North Royalton; three grandchildren, Tyler Pokornowski, Sean Pokornowski and Emily Pokornowski; a sister-in-law, Lois Nori of Niles; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Michael Nori and Guy Nori.

Friends may call 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Thursday at St. Pope John XXIII Parish-Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, preceded by an 11:30 a.m. Niles Lions and prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
