Kenneth L. McCabe 1956-2025

Kenneth was born in Youngstown and resided in the area throughout his life. He graduated from Canfield High School in 1974 and attended vocational school.

Kenneth married his high school sweetheart, Suzanne, on June 21, 1980. For over 37 years, he was a dedicated member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local 396, serving for more than 20 years on the pension board to secure the future of his fellow union workers.

Ken was able to retire early and enjoyed tinkering in his garage and working on his children’s homes. He was an avid race fan attending over a hundred NASCAR races, frequenting local dirt tracks on Saturday night, and for over 10 years, he ran a karting team at Goodhope Speedway. His greatest joy was partying with his family and turning his yard into an amusement park for his grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his mother, Savilla; his wife of 44 years, Suzanne; daughter, Staci, and son-in-law, Cameron Kennedy; son, John Patrick McCabe; and the light of his life, his two grandchildren, Ryan and Allison Kennedy. He is also survived by a brother, Allen (Shelley) McCabe.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Presbyterian Church of Mineral Ridge.
