Claudia Clegg 1941-2025

Claudia was born May 24, 1941, in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of Raymond and Wilba Dabney Hawk. She attended Sharon General Hospital School of Nursing in Sharon, Pa., the St. Elizabeth School of Anesthesia in Youngstown and became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Claudia was employed as an anesthetist for Bel Park Anesthesia for 25 years and also for Doctor’s Pain Clinic for 15 years.

Claudia was a member of Bailey Road Baptist Church working in AWANA for 13 years. She also held a membership at First Community Church in Leavittsburg.

Loving memories of Claudia will be carried on by her husband, Robert W. Clegg, whom she married Sept. 26, 1981; her children, Dan and Getta Daughenbaugh of Tyrone, Pa., David and Joan Daughenbaugh of Palm Bay, Florida, Bob D. Clegg of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Rhonda Clegg Bigelow of Austintown; her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at First Community Church in Leavittsburg, where a service will be held at 11 a.m., with Pastor John Jaros officiating.

Claudia will be laid to rest in the Lutheran Cemetery in Newton Township.
