John F. Waybright 1956-2025

He was born Aug. 2, 1956, in Bluegrass, W.Va., the son of the late Arlie Wagner and the late Vida Gragg Wagner.

John enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and wrestling, and played football for his West Virginia high school.

He is survived by his wife, Christine (Hudson) Brickner of Cortland; children, John (Debra) Waybright Jr. of Kinsman and Paulette Waybright of Warren; stepsons, Michael Brickner of Cortland and James (Crystal) Lee Brickner of Champion; grandchildren, John Waybright III, Michael Waybright and Madelyn Waybright; and step-grandchild, David Lee Brickner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Marvin, George and Jean Wagner.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
