Douglas G. Losey 1959-2025

He was born Aug. 22, 1959, in Dennison, the son of the late Gene and Jeanne Edwards Losey.

On Nov. 25, 1995, he married the love of his life, the former Melanie Canzonetta, and together they shared 29 years of marriage and many happy memories.

Douglas worked at Howland Local Schools for 32 years.

He enjoyed building model cars, working on bicycles and playing golf. Douglas also liked watching sports, dirt track racing, the Cavaliers, the Browns, the Indians and The Ohio State University.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Losey; daughters, Samantha Rulong and Paige Losey; sister, Cyndi (Brian) Lynn; brother, Bruce (Linda) Losey; sister, Tauyna (Romain) Vise; and his grandson, Elliott.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Losey.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, and again one hour before the service on Tuesday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

He will be laid to rest at Pineview Memorial Park.
